Where can I view Real-time quotation?
 
Members can view Real-time quotation by selecting Real Time from a menu bar on the top. There are two versions of Real-time quotation to choose from, StockNet I and StockNet II.

StockNet I is a downloadable application for both Trail Membership and clients. Click here to download

StockNet II is a web-base application and has been developed from StockNet I by adding market ticker and other functions, exclusively for clients only. Click here for more information
Why can't I login to the system after I has changed my password and I can't use the old password either?
 

Please note that the password:

  • must contain 8 - 12 characters,
  • with a letter or numbers or special letter ( '!' , '@' , '#' , '$' , '%' , '&' , '?' )
  • may contain letters & numbers,
  • may be upper or lower case,
  • must not include any spaces.
For example:-

Mr. Zmico is a member of our web site and would like to change his password
from 12345678 to
123456789abcdef

* The system will accept the new password but truncate it to be only 12 characters.

So his new password will be 123456789abc. Mr. Zmico must login to the system using 123456789abc as his new password not 123456789abcdef or his old password.

What should I do to be able to trade through the Internet ?

I see only the grey stripes on my StockNet II screen. What is wrong ?
 


The StockNet II
is developed on a Java platform, so the application can only work with Java components that are activated during Windows installation. However, sometimes there might be some errors during the installation that results in StockNet II functions.


How to solve the problem.
Please click here to download Java components to update your system.

After the download is complete, please install by double clicks at the downloaded file. Then click next until finish. Then the computer will automatically restart the system. Now the system should work properly.


Why can't I view StockNet II when I am a trail membership ?

 
StockNet II is allowed to clients only. If you are interested in viewing StockNet II, please go to Account Opening from the menu bar on the top to open an account with us or click here.

When I view my order on the Order Entry page after I have just placed an order, I see the "R" letter appear on the status column. What should I do? ?
 

Every order must have a status attached as follows:-

Stat
Description
 PO
The order is waiting to be sent to the SET
 PX
The cancel order is sent to the SET
 O
The order is queuing at the SET
 R
The order is rejected
 X
The order is cancelled



The above abbreviation is described when you move the mouse over that status along with the reasons why the orders have been rejected.

What should I do when there is an error while I login to StockNet I ?
 


Since StockNet I is a downloadable application, it needs some components from Windows. The error might come from incomplete system startup or from deletion of some unused programs from your system that affects those components being used by StockNet I.

How to solve : Please re-install StockNet I.

What should I do when there is an error The page cannot be display appear every time I login to the system ?
 

The reason is that every time you login to the system, we will encrypt your data with the highest standard SSL 128 bit to protect your information. If your browser, whether Internet Explorer or Netscape, does not support the SSL or it contains incorrect setting, the encryption will not work properly.

Please follow these steps to fix the problem

1. From Internet Explorer menu, choose "Tools - Internet Option":
2. Select "Advance" tab.
3. Click "Restore Defaults" button on the bottom, right hand corner.
4. Click "Apply" button
5. Click "OK"
6. Close all Internet Explorer windows (if you open more than one)
7. Open Internet Explorer again. The system should work properly.


What happens to StockNet II when it does not update the price unless I click the update button ?
 


In StockNet II, we use a new Java technology called "Push technology" to push real-time price to you, which is different from the methodology using in StockNet I. So when you view StockNet II under your company's network that have a Proxy Server, we can not push real-time data through your internal network.

How to fix the problem :
We urge you to update your system software by installing a software called "Proxy Client", which will enable StockNet II to be able to push real-time data through your internal network to your computer. You may do so by asking your IT personnel to install it for you.

Can I transfer stocks from my Cash account to Internet account ?
 


You can do that by logging into your Internet account. Then go to Online Trading and select Transfer Stock from the menu bar.
