With 14 full time research staff, we are now in a position to support a larger and more sales orientated local institutional team.
We are therefore seeking highly motivated and sales orientated staff in our Local Institutional Sales Department. Our principal need is to fill the following position;
SVP - INSTITUTIONAL SALES
Primary Role:
Active business development amongst existing and particularly new clients. We are looking for someone who, with the support of our research team, will actively promote and sell new issues, big lots and corporates to an existing and new client base.
Reporting: The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years in securities sales.
- Holder of a securities sales licence.
- The drive to win new business.
- M.B.A. or M.A. background
- Skilled in business development / able to win business
- Detailed knowledge of the relevant SET and SEC regulations.
- A reasonably high profile in the business community
- Ability to liaise closely with our research team and other members of the sales team.
- Very good market knowledge.
- Excellent English and interpersonal skills
- Sound business acumen.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
